About Me

Hi! I’m Amy, a game designer who has been playing games for as long as I can remember. Honestly, when I was around 10 years old, I never imagined I could become a game designer. I grew up in China and didn’t have many opportunities to play games. To earn a little gaming time, I would rush through my homework every day. I also didn’t have any consoles as a kid, so most of my gaming experiences came from Flash games on websites, but I still remember how much joy they brought me.

One of my most memorable moments was the first time I played my cousin’s Game Boy. Playing Pokémon for the first time felt incredible, and I was instantly hooked. Since then, I’ve enjoyed many genres, including platformers, action-adventure games, fighting games, RPGs, strategy games, and more. My favorite, though, is party games. I love playing them with friends and family because games create meaningful moments, strengthen relationships, and turn time together into something special.

Because of this, I want to create games that bring people together, games that players can truly enjoy and immerse themselves in. I hope players can experience the same joy and connection that games have given me. I believe everyday life is a great source of inspiration for game design, especially the way people cooperate and interact. Whenever I have a good idea, I write it down and expand it into a game concept.

My goal is to create fun and memorable gaming experiences that everyone can enjoy, including myself. One day, I hope to bring my own game to a family gathering and proudly say, “Yes, that’s the game I created.”

Outside of gaming, I enjoy sports like badminton, volleyball (even though I haven’t played in a while), and boxing. I’m also a big fan of Nintendo Sports games, which motivate me to stay active and healthy. I love hiking, playing mahjong, board games, singing, and traveling. In 2025, I visited almost ten cities, and each trip became a truly unforgettable experience.

Here’s a photo of me at Fairmont Le Château Frontenac in Quebec, a filming location from one of my favorite K-dramas, Guardian: The Lonely and Great God. The photo below is my cat, Jiggly Puff, yes, named after the Pokémon. I love her so much; she’s like a little pudding. Isn’t she cute? I hope you like her too!
